Major coauthor issue with call script tasks

As a co-author, if I click into a bot’s call a script task, even just accidentally click on it, it stumbles into this “no script selected” error state, because co-authors lack that permission, even if there already was a script selected on that task. A co-author can’t even click the task! Ridiculous. And even worse, they can’t recover from this error in any way besides reverting the version.

God forbid they made several other changes to the app that they were wanting to save before accidentally clicking on the script task. Nope, not allowed to save those changes now, you’ve got to revert the version, or cancel the save, and fully redo everything you just did.

Please fix this asap.

Hello @Marc_Dillon,

Thank you for sharing this. I have seen this enhancement request and actually created a ticket for the development team. I will bring this up one more time and share updates on that thread.

This is a much more serious problem than the prior requests!!

As @Marc_Dillon pointed out, a co-author can accidentally get into a state that they cannot recover from because of some automatic under-the-cover change that breaks things but doesn’t allow the co-author to correct.

The only way, as @Marc_Dillon states, is to revert the app to an earlier version and, if neccessary, reapply any changes that were lost.

It needs fixed!!
