Hi. 6 months in and I’m not sure…

  • Is there a way to export the appsheet settings (column names, initial values, preferences for display etc) for a table to quick start in another app?

  • Does anyone use the app “copy” (or have a nice system) to introduce some distance between dev, testing and release? I have users, so I can’t get too fast-and-wild with things, in case I break their (stable) version.

  • If I have feature requests (and I really do) what is the best method to share/vote on them?

  • Is there no way to have tooltips in the UI? I may have missed this.

Nope.

Use Manage > Versions > App Upgrade.

There is none. There used to be, but they mostly ignored it and eventually removed it.

Actually, when you add a Q&A item, “feature-idea” is one of the tags you can apply,

Additional to Steve’s comment, when you are on an Enterprise plan, AppSheet provides the ability to specify a Stable version and the Latest version. This allows for dev to continue in the Latest version while all users operate against the Stable version. When Latest is ready, it is pushed as the new Stable version.
