Hi, I’m currently building a dashboard in Looker Studio using BigQuery as the data source.
I’m facing an issue where the dashboard shows:
“No access to dataset – Insufficient permission to access the underlying data set.”
Here are my configurations:
- BigQuery dataset: kimia_farma
- Table: tabel_analisa
- I am the Owner of the BigQuery project
- Data source in Looker Studio is set to “Owner’s Credentials”
- Dashboard is shared as “Anyone with the link (Viewer)”
Steps I already tried:
- Reconnected data source
- Refreshed fields
- Verified query works in BigQuery (SELECT * works fine)
- Ensured correct dataset and table are used
- Tested in incognito mode
However, the error still appears.
Question:
What could be causing this issue even when Owner’s Credentials is enabled? Is there any additional permission or configuration required between BigQuery and Looker Studio?
