We have connected a Looker dashboard to a Snowflake database but we occasionally hit quota limits for the data coming through the connector, which locks us out for up to 24 hours. Does anyone know what the quota limits are for this connector, and/or if we can monitor data consumption? Thanks!
If you want to prevent Looker Studio from consuming your Snowflake API quota, a quick tip is to click âPause Updatesâ in the top right corner of Looker Studio. This will stop all data updates. Once youâve set up your table, simply click âResume Updatesâ to refresh all reports.
The benefit of this approach is that if you donât pause updates, Looker Studio will call the Snowflake API every time you add a dimension, adjust a metric, change the order, or modify the date range. Pausing updates can significantly help save your API quota.
