Hi! My company has a Looker-hosted instance running at least Looker 24. We don’t have allowlists enabled, I am a Looker admin so I have explore permissions, clear_cache and and access_data permissions for everything. I had a permanent filter on my data, and then had a developer remove it.
I’ve accepted complimentary Studio Pro licenses and linked them to a GCP project, and I’ve checked that the Looker BI Connector is enabled.
I’ve made a very basic report in Looker studio, that should show the names of events, and the number of times those events have been triggered. I’ve set my date range to be a number of things, but no matter what my date range is (or if I use different metrics like the numbers of users that trigger those events), I get ‘no data’ in my chart. I can see the query running from Looker Studio in my Looker instance API query log. But, I cannot understand why I am not seeing any data! Does anyone have any suggestions?
Also, while I am asking, I am a bit unclear: if I want users (who have Looker accounts) to be able to download reports that they generate in Looker Studio and send those to external users…is that actually disabled within the product? Even for Looker Pro users? Are they able to send public dashboard links to pre-filtered data?
