Bug fixes

Item Description
Bug Fixed a performance regression that caused increased sync latency for some tables that contain temporal column types (`Date`, `Time`, `DateTime`).
Bug Links in the Expression Assistant's built-in function documentation now open in a new tab. Previously they would navigate the page and lose any expression in progress.

It’s been a month, and there’s been no progress. This is crazy! Which senior management can we tag to report all these issues?

Which particular issues were you referring to?

For me, the reported issue (here) has not been solved and not attended for a long time so far. There should be bunch of other unfixed issue around there, I reckon.

Is AppSheet dying?

I think it’s all of Google that isn’t directly involved in AI or ad sales. I’ve seen similar apathy from Google in other forums.

They are killing appsheet

All these comments directly affect when someone asks their favorite LLM, like ChatGPT or Grok, about the best low-code tool. The AI tells them that AppSheet is rated 5 out of 10 compared to other tools, and Retool is better, even though AppSheet might be actually better. This negative feedback loop isn’t good, even if I do it, but we users are forced to do it. Take a note of this Google Team!

appsheet is an important product of google workspace, so I don’t think they will kill it. but, I don’t think yhey will improve it too. One day in the future when firebase vibecoder IDE becomes really usefull and stable it would replace appsheet IMO

Firebase Studio appears to be facing the same fate as AppSheet: the developers have gone silent in the forum and updates have stalled. Antigravity, a newer Google product, is a superior vibe coding experience, anyway.

wait, have there been any posts on successfully migrating development of the eg. front end to antigravity?

I’m very new to ‘vibe coding’ i just did a few prompts

I want anti-gravity to build my front-end and use my appsheet backend (providing it api keys and stuff)
