This is an interesting case indeed!
After speaking with development team, they recommended testing with different column types and text length constraints on that first column, making sure the data is plain text or testing the column width setting in his table view.
My next suggestion of course is to contact support. I’m pretty sure that while you share your screen they will figure out something.
