We would like to check if anyone else in the community is experiencing a similar issue when uploading large video files.
Previously, in our applications, we were able to upload .mp4 files of up to ~400MB using a File-type column without major issues (only expected delays or occasional timeouts during upload).
However, recently we started noticing a different behavior:
When selecting .mp4 files larger than ~200MB (e.g., 201MB+), the app fails.
On web (tested in Chrome, Edge, Brave — including clean sessions and incognito), the app becomes unresponsive or crashes right after selecting the file.
The issue happens before the upload process even starts.
On mobile devices, the file can be selected, but the upload fails when saving.
Files below ~200MB still upload normally.
Additional details:
This issue is happening across multiple applications (not app-specific).
It affects all users.
Google Drive storage is not an issue (we have sufficient space).
This behavior was not occurring before — uploads up to ~400MB were working in our tests.
We’ve already tried:
Clearing browser cache and using clean browser environments
Testing different networks
Testing across multiple browsers and devices
We tried uploading different videos with different sizes
We are attaching some short GIFs showing the behavior when selecting files >200MB.

Meanwhile, if you can raise a ticket for the same, it will be easier to follow up.

Hi @Shourya_Tomar, just adding that we’re hitting this exact same issue — uploads fail above ~200 MB. It’s currently blocking a workflow for us, so we’d really appreciate any update on the investigation, or a rough sense of whether a fix is expected vs. whether we should plan to architect around it. The team has been focused on some major core projects over the past few weeks and hence it is taking longer than usual for the resolution.
