is it possible to change the backup directory (and the restore from directory) that the backup app utilizes?

I’ve done some digging in the “backup” and “restore” actions for apigee-service and have found that they are setting “local backups_dir=”$BACKUP_DIR/$APPLICATION" this is set in both backup and restore.
I see the $BACKUP_DIR is set in /opt/apigee/apigee-service/lib/service-functions.sh is there an approved method of changing this instead of going into service-functions.sh and changing the $BACKUP_DIR manually?
Yes, you can create an symbolic link (symlink) from /opt/apigee/backup to volume/directory you want.
