Is anyone else getting "Data Studio has encountered a system error" across all reports today? (Asia/Taiwan)

Starting around 2026/06/11 09:00 (UTC+8, Taiwan), every single Data Studio report I own is showing “Data Studio has encountered a system error – See details” on most components. It’s not isolated to one dashboard — all of my reports are affected.

What I’m seeing:

  • Scorecards and most chart components fail with the system error message
  • Occasionally one or two time-series charts still render, but the rest break
  • Same behavior across multiple reports with different data sources (GA4 + BigQuery)
  • Same behavior across browsers and in incognito mode
  • Refreshing data / reloading the report doesn’t help

The official Google Cloud status page shows no incident for Data Studio, but the symptoms look very consistent across all my reports, which makes me suspect a backend issue rather than something on my side.

Is anyone else in APAC (or elsewhere) seeing the same thing right now? Any workaround appreciated.

Yes, I’m experiencing the same issue. It’s been happening for about three weeks now, and nothing seems to fix it. The data appears if I clear the filters, but as soon as I refresh the page—even without applying any filters—the error shows up again.
