I was affected by the recent issue with the asia-southeast.appsheet.com problem. I was sent some procedures that were meant to help fix the issue, but initially they did not work. I want to share what I needed to do incase anyone else has lingering issues.
The brief problem and solution: The account that I have is based in NZ, but I am located in Europe, so when I tried to solve the issue I was unable to fix the problem. I remotely connected to a computer located in NZ and logged in from there and was able to perform the reccomended actions.

Thank you for reaching back to us. We would like to suggest a few troubleshooting steps to help resolve the issue you are experiencing with your data source.
First, we recommend that you log out of AppSheet, clear your browser cache, and then log back in. This ensures that no temporary browser data is interfering with your current session.
Once you have logged back in and if the issue persists then we kindly request that you refresh your data source credentials. You can find the specific steps to do this in this article. If the issue persists after refreshing the credentials, please follow these steps to re-add your tables manually via the table settings:
Click on the Table settings icon located next to “View Data Source.”
Open the Storage tab and click on Source Path.
Select Browse for more data.
Choose your required data source and select the specific data you wish to use.
Save your changes. This process will re-authenticate the data source connection.
If the problem continues even after performing all the steps mentioned above, then please let us know.
My reply:
The only data sources that I have are Google Sheets and Google Calendar.
Google Sheets does not show up as an option in the data sources.
For Google Calendar I’m unable to refresh the data source credentials because the home region is wrong. Please see image below:
When I try to re-add the source spreadsheets manually I get presented with the following message “Your Google signin has expired. Please sign in again.”
After this I tried to sign in to Google as a data source, in the same place as Google Calendar, and was presented with the same message telling me that I need to do it in my home region.
Unable to perform the requested action in the current region. Retry the operation in your home region: https://asia-southeast.appsheet.com
This got me thinking that maybe it was related to my location. I work for a company in NZ, but I’m located in the UK. I remotely connected to a NZ computer and was able to log in from there. All data sources became available again and the apps started working. They work in NZ and the UK. This has never been an issue before, so I believe that it is a lingering issue related to the recent updates.
I hope that this is of help.
