Installing test app on iphone

Hello! I use to install the ipa of a new app to test it on my iphone by dragging the ipa to the phone, but it does not work (everything is updated) I check the info here if something change but it is the same

Do anyone knows how to transfer it, I also tried to airdrop it and it didn’t worked

I found that to install the IPA sometimes macOS version requires using the Xcode app instead of directly dragging and dropping to a Finder device icon. You can drag your .ipa to the “Installed Apps” area in Xcode’s “Devices and Simulators” window. (Or use the little plus icon.)

Other possible causes are:

  • Device compatibility: IPA must be built for your specific device model and iOS version.
  • iTunes is outdated: The older method of dragging and dropping to an iTunes device icon is no longer supported.
