Ok so I just found out about Input(). It took a while to configure but when I tell you it is simplicity in a bottle.
Initially I had 4 actions
- (2) Data: set the values of some columns in this row
- (1) Data: execute an action on a set of rows
- (1) Grouped: execute a sequence of actions
It was so many steps just to allow the user to select a choice and then the app had to sync to update the info.
When I found Input() not only did it consolidate all these actions into one, it also gives a different ui for the user with a modal box. I have been with this community since 2017 and this is the first time that I can say that I am truly excited to see where appsheet is going. Keep more CSS coupled with functionality coming.
