Inline Actions not displaying on form.
I have configured some actions to assist my users with data-entry. The actions appear on the detailview next to the field as intended, but not on the from, which is where I need them. is this standard behaviour or have I missed a setting somewhere?
This is a normal behavior. I’m afraid you can’t trigger the action from the form view.
Is this behaviour still the same?
Action buttons remain unavailable within form views. An alternative might be to use a detail view with Quick Edit columns. It doesn’t behave exactly like a form, but it does provide a great many functional opportunities. You’ll have to experiment a bit to get a feel for this approach.
