Infocus This Week: Google Skills Arcade June 2026

We don’t know about you, but the Google Skills Arcade Team is still processing January. How are we already halfway through the year?!

infocus june

If your cloud skills have been on the back burner, June is the perfect time to change that. We are kicking off the month with three incredible new games in the Google Cloud Skills Arcade 2026. Whether you’re trying to build elite serverless apps, mess around with pre-trained AI, or lock down massive data pipelines, there is something awesome waiting for you this week.

Arcade Adventure: App Dev and Cloud Observability
Writing code is just the first step; you also need to know how to deploy it smoothly and keep it running at its best. In this adventure, you’ll get started with serverless setups by running code on Cloud Run Functions and connecting your services using Google Cloud Pub/Sub. From there, you’ll work on the operations side—building out clean development environments, keeping tabs on multiple projects at once, and setting up smart alerts so you can spot and fix issues early. With a couple of challenge labs thrown into the mix, you’ll walk away with the skills needed to build, monitor, and scale apps on Google Cloud.

Arcade Voyage: Identity Management and Pre-trained AI APIs
Keeping your cloud resources secure and making your apps smarter are two essential skills for any cloud developer. In this voyage, you’ll start with the security fundamentals, learning how to configure service accounts, manage IAM permissions using gcloud, and set up custom roles. Once you’ve secured your environment, you’ll work with Google Cloud’s pre-trained AI tools—converting text to synthetic speech, translating languages on the fly, and transcribing audio files into text. Complete with two practical challenge labs to test your skills, you’ll walk away knowing how to safely manage access to your cloud project while adding powerful language and speech features to your applications.

Arcade Trail: Data Engineering and Information Protection
Raw data is only useful if it is clean, structured, and secure. In this track, you’ll start by processing and preparing data using Dataprep, Dataflow templates, and Apache Spark. You’ll learn how to clean up datasets so they are ready for machine learning models. From there, you’ll focus on security by working with tools that find and mask sensitive information like personal IDs and credentials. You’ll practice redacting critical details and creating safe, de-identified copies of your data in Cloud Storage. By finishing the hands-on challenge labs, you’ll show you can handle big data workflows while keeping confidential information completely safe.

Which one are you jumping into first? Let’s make June a massive month for learning! Drop a comment below to share your learning goals for the month, or connect with a peer in the community to tackle these challenges together. Every game you complete is a major step forward in your cloud journey!

Game On!

Please @Yugali consider high value point table, because it’s very hard to reach ultimate point tier. I hope you will be understand ma’am.

Yes, I am very excited to learn with lab and theory simultaneously.

Thank you google :folded_hands:t2:

I am so far behind. I have been doing Google Skills all year but I just signed up for this year’s Google Arcade 2 weeks ago. Then I got sick for a week so I am just now starting them.

Dear Arcade Team and Community Leaders! @Yugali @akshitj

I want to raise a sincere concern that many participants from neighboring countries silently feel but rarely express.

We all know, respected Arcade Team & PMs choose and nominate Arcade Facilitators from India ONLY, while participants from neighboring countries like Bangladesh and Pakistan often feel left out.

This is a humble request for fairness, equality, and inclusion.

If Indian vendors, Google partners, and the Arcade team face challenges & restrictions in shipping swag or providing opportunities to participants in neighboring countries, then please work towards solutions rather than exclusions. Participants from these countries are equally passionate, hardworking, and deserving.

For God’s sake, please promote equality, fairness, and inclusivity. :folded_hands:

For how long will these passionate learners continue to experience this sense of deprivation?

The Arcade Program is presented as a global community initiative. If participants from around the world are considered greater beneficiaries, then India’s neighboring countries should not feel excluded from opportunities, recognition, facilitator roles, or rewards.

Please look beyond borders and political realities. Communities grow stronger when opportunities are distributed fairly and inclusively.

Let’s remove barriers, reduce divisions, and open the gates of opportunities for everyone. Political tensions should never prevent deserving learners and community members from being recognized and included.

We don’t want closed doors.

We want open opportunities.

We don’t want favoritism.

We want fairness.

We don’t want sympathy.

We want equal access.

Let’s build a community where geography does not determine opportunity.

Thanks

Arcade Facilitator India, Arcade Fasilitator Indonesia, Arcade Facilitator Brazil Campaigns are launched this year.
My concern is Where’s Arcade Facilitator MENA, Arcade Facilitator North America, Arcade Facilitator South East Asia(SEA), Arcade Facilitator Europe? Ain’t these regions deserve their own Facilitator Program Campaigns?? @Yugali @akshitj

yay! Excited

Hello To All Indian nominated Facilitators!
Someone could please make me a Co-Facilitator. If I can’t earn Facilitator’s Milestone’s swag, at least let me earn some good deeds by guiding and training newcomers and newbies! So Yeah :skull::skull:

Hi @Yugali , I still haven’t received my 2025 2nd cohort swag, and I’ve emailed printose+google3@printo.in multiple times but haven’t received any reply or update yet. Hoping this gets resolved soon.

Excited to participate in the June 2026 Arcade! Am I late here as I have joined here today only…
