Dear AppSheet Team,
Please check and fix a persistent issue in the AppSheet Editor related to Manual Column Order settings.
When editing a view (for example: Bảng công / Time Sheet) and switching Column Order from Automatic to Manual, the column list initially displays fields from another table or slice (example from Hồ sơ / Profile) instead of the actual data source linked to that view (e.g., BangCong_Form).
Only after clicking the Add button does the correct column list appear. This behavior has existed for over six months and continues to cause confusion for app creators, who may think they selected the wrong table or slice.
Impact:
- Misleads users and slows down view configuration.
- Forces app builders to manually remove all incorrect columns and re-add the correct ones.
- Reduces confidence in the editor’s reliability.
When switching to Manual Column Order, AppSheet should immediately display columns belonging to the table or slice currently linked to the view — without requiring an “Add” refresh.
Temporary workaround: Manually remove all incorrect columns after switching to Manual mode, then click Add to reload the correct schema.
Please investigate and fix this issue in an upcoming release so that the editor automatically loads the correct column schema when switching to Manual Column Order. This will greatly improve usability and reduce setup confusion for creators.
Thank you for your attention and continued support.
