In case the deleted account was the owner of the app

I’m sorry if the information is insufficient.

I received a question from my customer, A. A’s company is on the Enterprise plan. An employee of A’s company, B, was the owner of a certain app. However, B retired and their GWS account was deleted. After that, other employees tried to access the app but encountered an authentication error and were unable to connect.

In this case, is there anything that can be done to access the app?

They should have 60 days for a Google Admin to recover the deleted account. They will have to contact Google to get this done.

Once the account is recovered, they can go through the usual hoops to assign that accounts apps to another account. Once this is done and everything works again, the original retired account can be deleted again.

If it was not the Root of the AppSheet team, and the app still works, the Root is able to transfer the app to another user and then take a copy of that app with a new datasource.
