Feature request category was sadly removed from the community place, so we have no way to post our request for the new features to make this platform far better.
Instead, please allow me request in QA section.
The TEAM Policy / governance (available from Enterprise plus) is not really filling our need to control the governance, as it is missing the critical features.
For instance, if we wish to control who can deploy the app as owner. Then we use the expression like ; -
IN([OwnerId], LIST(11111, 11122))
However, in reality, most of the cases we wish to add more detailed conditions like “only this particular apps alone, we can add the owner accounts who can deply apps for that particular apps only.
However, it is always making our life difficult at the COLUMN names for policy expression is not global one, but alwasy restricted to be used inside the associated AppSheet component. In other words, we are not able to juggle mutiple column names across the different appsheet component.
I m not sure why Column names are only associated with the particular appsheet component rather than be available globally across any appsheet component.
Once again, this makes us difficult to place the proper control.
I hope someone, proper person and team in Google re-visit this important features to ensure the full governance for the AppSheet app management.
