I am not sure what you are asking. The path recorded in the sheet or the database, by default, is a RELATIVE path. If you are using the sheet as the datasource, the path is relative to the location of the sheet - i.e. the sheet location acts as the “root” folder.

If you are using a database, the path is relative to the App Default Path specified in the App Properties (see image)
