When users receive emails from my automations which use Google Docs as the email template, none of the images are appearing. This has been working for months and suddently today none of the email automations are displaying images from the google docs. Only the text is displayed from the Google Doc. It’s worth noting that nothing changed in terms of the app or Google Doc / permissions. It seems like some kind of Appsheet platform update which likely is causing this.
If I use the preview email function, the images are not appearing either.
On my end, the images are displaying, but the behavior is a bit strange. The images are being cropped (only displaying a tiny part) on Gmail, and hovering over them gives me the option to download. This wasn’t the behavior before. Looking forward to the final fix =)
On the preview option in Appsheet, it displays ok now.
When I click to inspect, it seems that the image is way larger than the available space. But it looks fine on the template and on the preview option in Appsheet.

Sorry for my delayed response - I checked again and the issue remained. I’m using an email template. What I could see, comparing with other templates I use, is that some of them have the image on the header, and others (like this one that is failing) have the image on the body of Google doc. I changed the template to have the image on the header and it’s working now.

Even I have been facing the same problem. My pics in google drive which were part of the email template were showing properly till two weeks back. I stumbled upon this post when trying to identify the issue, the issue rectified by itself and I was seeing pics in my email generated by the bot in between for a couple of days. But today onwards I am facing the same issue where I do not see images in the email generated by bot.
Welcome to the community! As stated before, the issue got resolved so I’m curious on what error you are seeing. Could you share a screenshot of what you are seeing?
This is from an email generated today by the bot. As you can see the image does not show up, The screenshot is from my laptop, the same issue is being replicated in my mobile too when I am seeing the email and is common across other devices and users who receive this email.
