Volviste a tener tus apps? a mi me sigue redirigiendo a Asia. Mas allá de no poder modificarla, puedes usarla?
Hi everyone, we are aware of the issue and are rolling out a fix now. Access should return to normal shortly. You might see a few hiccups or intermittent errors for a little while as things stabilize. Sorry for the inconvenience.
im still down here in Texas … fyi
Thanks for the update - how are things looking now?
Hi Chelsea!
Now we can see the apps but now I’m getting this erros in all of my apps:
“Method doesn’t allow unregistered callers (callers without established identity)”
@Chelsea_Clark, the problem was reported in more than just this one thread. Fear not, I did your job and notified the other threads.
How is Google so very bad at communication?
Hi @Chelsea_Clark , Thank you for the information. My team is still checking the our Appsheet apps regularly. The asia redirect issue stopped occurring a couple hours ago and I can log in to the Admin console again. However none of the apps are accessible from the user end, same with the preview pane (emulator).
The error messages is “Method doesn’t allow unregistered callers (callers without established identity). Please use API Key or other form of API consumer identity to call this API.” This error message is repeated for all for all tables within the app. Based on continued input from the forum it looks like other users are having a very similar issue.
Please do contact Support if you haven’t already. This community is NOT a reliable or formal channel of communication with AppSheet or Google.
Hi Steve, she asked how things are looking now. I wanted to give her the best information I have. I intentionally post on here so other users will also have an idea of they’re dealing with the same thing.
After several refreshes, clearing cache, and clearing data, all apps were still not loading on any device, from any account among all users. I opened the app in incognito mode on a different browser. It immediately started syncing on all apps and accounts simultaneously. I’m not sure if this is a fluke or the actual fix for the “unregistered callers” error. Weird.
Fluke I think. It didn’t work for me.
The tip worked!
- All apps fail to load databases (GSheets) in Chrome (the usual browser)
- I opened a single app in edit mode in Edge and it worked
- They all started loading correctly in Chrome again. So far everything works
Thanks @PocketDragon you literally saved my day
Confirmed. After failing on Chrome and Firefox, it’s WORKING on Edge. Thanks @GusApp and @PocketDragon .
I’ve solved the issue, but it was more complicated as it was to do with working across regions. I’ve documented it at the following post:
Thaks for sharing that solution you saved my life!, after opening the apps on microsoft edge every thing were solved
Hello everyone,
We sincerely apologize for the recent inconvenience. While I was away on vacation, Chelsea and Shourya did a fantastic job keeping things moving, and I am now jumping back in to assist them.
Please rest assured that we are working closely as a team to follow up on every single case. A huge thank you to @Chelsea_Clark and @Shourya_Tomar for their incredible support and partnership while I was out!
Great - All back. Sorry was out of pocket.
Thanks for helping
Solution that worked for me:
-
Find AppSheet and remove its access
-
Log back into AppSheet
-
Grant all permissions again
This reauthorizes the connection and fixes the issue.
Will an RCA report be issued for this incident? Although the downtime was brief, it was a critical failure, and I would like to understand the extent of the impact.
