HubSpot connector fails with UNHANDLED_TASK_ERROR

I have created a HubSpot Integration Connection that is linked to a full-fledged HubSpot Enterprise portal using a private app token with literally all the scopes available in HubSpot.

When adding the “Connector” action to an Integration and using the TEST option, it takes about 1 minute, before showing an “Integration execution failed” error.

The logs are quite nondescript to me:

Cloud Logs is not showing anything, despite enabling Cloud Logging in the Connector.

I tried many variations, including different locations, different HubSpot API versions (v1/v3/v4), enabling/disabling event subscriptions in the connector, trying different entities / actions in the connector action, recreating the connector and the integration. Spent about $100 on it so far, so a bit out of idea by now. Everything produces the same error, and no Cloud Logs.

Only unusual thing I can observe is that the call logs on the HubSpot side show incessant calls to the “/crm/v3/objects/contacts” endpoint (or “v1/lists/all/contacts/all” when using v1 of the HubSpot API), suggesting that the integration is trying a “contact/list” operation even if I specify a different Entity and different Operation in the connector action. For example, I specify “Deals” / “Get” (and set the input parameter default value to an existing object ID of a deal record in the connected HubSpot portal), but upon TESTing the integration, I still see a ton of calls to “/crm/v3/objects/contacts”.

I am intimately familiar with HubSpot’s interfaces, but quite new to the GCP console and GCP conventions, so there may well be some very silly things I am doing wrong. But because of the generic error logs, I do not know how to troubleshoot further. Please help! Thank you.

Hi @vimsikal ,
Could you assist us by providing some relevent details, namely the Connection name and Project name. Please share the details in private dm.
