The only way to omit a row from display in any type of view is to omit the row from the underlying table or slice. There is no way to hide a row using Show if or by other means.
Why not a slice?
How about a security filter? Filtered views?
What exactly do you need to accomplish from a business point of view?
I have that slice. One thing I don’t slice it create too many sub tables and forms that is you di not hide it the user fill the wrong form. Of course there are many way to set it but it too things to do.
If there is a simple expression just hide this row without create new table how nice would that be.
Security filter view I never try that and I am not familiar. as well
Not sure how many variations you require but a slice filter can be dynamic and maybe using users table, usersettings, other filter tables may let you control your slice.
That’s exactly what a slice does.
Yes but that’s not good enough to me. When you have slice with UPDATES and ADD it create extra form extra setting directly at the slice. I don’t want all these. I only want to simply hide the row =INACTIVE. Just like an excel sheet hide row.
Not possible.
Thanks and nope some day this will become reality
