After applying labels to some resources , Will the result of resource’s credit include the cost before applying labels? is it possible?

Unfortunately, the current functionality of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) does not allow you to extract the cost of a resource before applying labels. When you apply labels to a resource, the original cost data is overwritten and becomes unavailable.

  • Extracting the cost of a GCP resource before applying labels is not possible with current functionality.
  • Workarounds include:
    • Exporting historical billing data before applying labels.
    • Estimating cost based on usage metrics and pricing information.
    • Submitting a feature request to Google Cloud.
  • Ideally, Google Cloud would offer a native way to access the cost of resources before applying labels.
