How to define hostnames

Hello All,

I dont know it make sense or not but i have concern here.

I am working on CA Layer 7 API gateway in my company.. I have created many APIs, after creating the APIs my network team mapping some unique hostnames to my server which is having API gateway. After that i am able to access the APIs with that hostnames. ex:

https://abc.com/sample_api?wsdl

https://myapi.com/example_api/v1/getdetails

But as per my observation in APIGEE, hostname is nothing but Organization name. Is there any possibility to create our own different hostnames and access my APIs whatever the hostname i want.

Hope my question is clear to anyone.

Yes its possible to have custom domain names on apigee edge by using virtual hosts. Check the documentation here
