We have developed a stock-counting app using AppSheet, and we will be using it for a one-month stock count with approximately 15 users.
Before we proceed, we want to confirm which AppSheet subscription plan is appropriate for this short-term usage. Could you please guide me on how to contact AppSheet customer service or sales support to verify the correct subscription option?
Any advice or direction would be greatly appreciated.
@Shourya_Tomar, your response should note that support is only available to paid customers. A close reading of the original post–which you should have done–suggests the poster may not be a paying customer yet.
If the app needs authentication but you don’t have a lot of data (security filter is not needed) and you don’t need scheduled Automation or dtat filtering per user, then 15 Starter licenses should be enough.
If you need to filter data based on the app user, and the security filter is needed, then Core. Though if you are already using Google Workspace, you will have AppSheet Core licenses already.
With Start and Core, you can buy needed licenses for one month.
If your app needs rela databases like SQL, then you need Enterprise Plus subscriptions
Thank you Steve for repeatedly pointing out this info, again and again, in so many posts.
I believe a lot of AppSheet app creators are not aware of this yet, also here in Vietnam. It would be nice if there was a pinned post in this forum regarding this information.
To clarify our setup, the app has user authentication and security filters, but no automation. We are also not using Google Workspace.
Here is a brief overview of the app design:
We use two Google Sheets. The first contains the stock holdings by warehouse and SKU (approximately 10,000 rows).
The second sheet receives the data during the stock count. Each user updates around 500–1,000 rows.
Access is controlled through email authentication, and each user is restricted to their assigned warehouse using security filters.
My question is about the Starter License row limit:
Could you please clarify how the 2,500-row limit works? Is it a limit on captured data, total app data, or something else?
We are considering using multiple apps under Starter Licenses since each allows up to 2,500 rows, but we want to confirm whether this approach is viable.
