How to call an external microservice with an apigee proxy

Hi Team,

I have a requirement where i need to call an externl microservice by an apigee proxy.As per my understanding it could be achieved through service cal out policy but as i never implemented it so not very sure about this. Would be of great help if someone can provide details/example of this.

if your microservice is exposed through API call, then you can use proxy target endpoint configured to the backend. Service callout with no target also will work fine.
