I am trying to build an app for events where one person can have multiple events on his name and each event can have n number of tasks under it and that can we assigned to different persons.
Your description is a little vague.
At least I’d use 3 tables.
- User
- Event
- Task
To assign a task you just need to add an extra column for “assigned to” or similar that’s a FK to the User table
I am looking for the option/add button in add new event form where I can just click on add task button and add multiple tasks to the respective person
Do you have an example/pic?
I guess he is talking about looping action. Whenever a new task is added multiple task related to that task is added.
I actually understand that he is talking about the Inline view, but I’m not sure since Idk how much experience he has with the platform. Maybe an IsPartOf? is all he needs, IDK
Yes, Might be talking about LINKTOFORM() action to create a child record.
In this for I have recommended action box, POC Name, POC Email and Target date but with this view I can add only one recommended action at a time to the respective POCs. Instead of adding one by one I need a option to add multiple recommended actions along with the POC Name, POC Email and Target date.
You can make it to type ENUMLIST and use Looping action. Appsheet does not have that feature. So you will have to build it manually.
Here is a great tip from @MultiTech :

That’s a fantastic graphic! Clearly explains in illustrates what’s happening.
Brilliant!
Coming from you, I’m honored that you like it ![]()
I cannot put everything such, as conditions for avoiding infinite loops, as I need to keep it light enough to understand it, but at least I understand more or less what happens when I have to dive again in it.
You made a fantastic job at first !
Btw, how you made the illustration?
Just awesome !!! Very intuitive
Now I recall someone already mentioned it.
Thanks!
