How to add exactly 1 node to the GKE node pool

Hello.

How do I add exactly one node to the GKE node pool?

In the instructions, it says to press resize but when I do so, the UI says “number of nodes per zone”. So it won’t add 1 node, it’ll multiply it by the number of zones.

I want to add a node, drain one node and move the pods to the new node.

Is that possible?
