Hi everyone! I am a B.Tech CSE student from India focusing on Google Cloud, AI/ML, and web development. I am currently doing hands-on labs and small projects and want to follow best practices instead of just finishing tasks. I am especially interested in deploying applications on Google Cloud and using AI services correctly as a student developer. If you have suggestions on good learning paths, must-read docs, or how students can get the most value from these forums, I would really appreciate your guidance. Thank you!

Hey,
Hope you’re keeping well.
Since you’re focusing on deployment and AI/ML, I’d recommend starting with the Google Cloud Skills Boost student track, which has guided labs for Cloud Run, App Engine, and Vertex AI. Pay attention to IAM and service account usage early on, as that’s critical for secure deployments. The Google Cloud Architecture Framework and Vertex AI documentation are excellent resources for learning best practices. In these forums, you’ll get the most value by posting specific technical questions with error details or architecture diagrams so others can give targeted advice. For hands-on practice, try deploying a small REST API to Cloud Run and then integrate a Vertex AI model endpoint—this will give you experience across compute, networking, and AI services.
Thanks and regards,
Taz
