GSC Data Dropoff Using YearMonth

Hello - Curious if anyone has ever run into this issue when building a visual that shows GSC data at a month level:

-When I change the ‘Date’ field to display as Month & Year, and sort by that column, months drop off.
-However when I sort by another field, e.g. clicks, the months re-appear and the full date range I am filtered to shows (but it is out of chronological order)
-I am not changing anything about the table, only the column I am sorting by.
-this seems to only happen when looking at more than 6-7 months of data

Any advice? Thanks!

same issue:

  • calculated field for brand-nonbrandDATE YEAR-month

  • only shows 9 months

  • if I sort by clicks it shows all months

  • My solution > add secondary sort by clicks and it works for TABLE

But in lineal or area chart, it keeps cutting months
