So just got off a Workspace support chat regarding the Google workspace custom logo that users see in Google Apps. Right now it’s the Google logo and I’ve seen other organizations change it to their logo to make it look more uniform and organized. I looked into this and found out that my subscription (Workspace Essentials Starter) is not on the list of workspace editions for this feature. Why? No idea but workspace told me to submit my Feature ideas here so that engineers will be able to see my request.
Google Workspace Essentials Starter is a free, team-based edition designed primarily for quick collaboration. Because it doesn’t require domain verification to get rolling, it lacks the full administrative Personalisation settings in the Admin console, where custom logos are managed.
Since you are already using a business email address, another alternative to keep in the back of your mind is moving over to a Google Workspace Business Starter paid account. It’s the entry-level paid tier, but it unlocks full domain management, standard Gmail, and—most importantly for your goal—the ability to upload your own logo.
Hi thanks for your reply. I completely understand this and im aware of this. Support told me to submit idea here for engineers to see. Whether they will actually implement the feature is unknown.
