Google Education Approval Delay

I’m experiencing delays in my Google Education approval process because my trial package only allows me to create 10 email accounts, which is insufficient for creating emails for 1200 teachers and students. I’ve submitted an approval request but haven’t received any response. Is there a way to contact the Education team directly?

No, there isn’t. You can talk to official Google Support through the admin console, and you can get a local Google Partner involved. They can usually escalate the case.

Get ready to wait, forever. I’m also still waiting.

Google EDU Team send email to me already But it feels like I have to keep waiting indefinitely.
** I previously tried contacting the sales team and partners, but they all gave the same response: they couldn’t upgrade for this case until the EDU team approved it. The only option I could have was to switch to the enterprise package, which would incur additional costs and isn’t what I want.

Honestly, I feel like I have to wait. If this waiting is forever, I’d rather switch to Microsoft 365.

Yeah, that’s not a viable option.
You can’t “in the mean time” pay for a system that is supposed to be free. Especially not for thousands of users.

Agreed. For reference, our application was submitted back in November of 2025, which was also the last time I heard from an approval team rep. I received the same information from the sales team.

I’m looking to engage a local Google EDU partner. I’ve also read somewhere that Google recommends you resubmit your application if the case has been open and inactive for over 60 days, which is what I’ll be doing. Apparently, there are times where the manual approvals hit some problem with verification, but don’t actually engage the applicant to resolve the issue.

Good luck with your approvals everyone!
