Google cloud management screen question.

Google cloud management screen question

I’m trying to request scope for an API according to the Google FIT specification.

We have already started applying for Oauth consent scope.
The status of your application is not complete.

Therefore, the following dialog is currently displayed on the application side.

“This app is not verified by Google”

The OAuth application process will take a little more time.

Is there a way to cancel an OAuth request on the GCP management screen?

Or do I have no choice but to complete the application?

If you know please let me know.
thank you for reading.

Hi @ytakamizu ,

Welcome to the Google Community!

Unfortunately, there is no way to cancel/remove OAuth verification process once it’s started [1]. So, you’ll have to wait for the OAuth team to complete the verification process.

An alternative is to just create a new project.

I hope this helps. Thank you.

Thank you, that’s very helpful.

When the message “This app has not been verified by Google” appears, the trustworthiness of the app is lost, which has a big impact on the service.
Since the app operator is a large company with great social influence, the damage is also significant.

Also, the Oauth consent scope application is difficult, so it will likely take some time to clear it.

I would also like to avoid migrating to a new project as it would be costly.

On top of that, I would like to ask again how to prevent the message “This app has not been verified by Google” from appearing.

Hi @tobaru ,

It would be best to contact Google Cloud Support directly. They will then be able to create a ticket to the OAuth team to address your concern. Thank you.
