gke-connect-agent is deleted - how do I install it again.

Hi

I have a janitor service on our cluster which delete namespaces there is older than 7 days on our non-production clusters. But we forgot to whitelist gke-services - for an example: gke-connect-agent.
When I run gkectl update cluster it doesn’t do anything : - Validation Category: GKE Hub

  • [SKIPPED] GKE Hub: no update found on GKE connect spec.
Is there a method for force install the agent?

Hi ThomasBC,

Welcome to GCC!

You can use this document to update the connect agent.

Please also note:

Note: The manual update process deletes the existing Connect Agent namespace and re-installs the latest version of Connect resources. You might experience a short disconnection during the update. If your connection to Google is not re-established after five minutes, go to Troubleshooting.

I hope this helps.
