GKE Autopilot quotas

Hi,

Google Compute Engine has a number of quotas https://console.cloud.google.com/iam-admin/quotas such as CPUs, CPUs per region, In-use IP addresses, Persistent Disk SSD (GB).

Do those specifically mentioned quotas affect GKE (autopilot)?

Checking this page https://cloud.google.com/kubernetes-engine/quotas I don’t see precisely those items. If a project is limited to 24 CPUs in Compute Engine, will GKE Autopilot hit that quota, for example? Same question about disk space, IP’s.

Where is this documented? Should the page kubernetes-engine/quotas comment about which Compute Engine quotas are relevant? Even if the answer is they aren’t important. How would the answer vary, comparing Autopilot and Standard clusters?

“The following tables describe the limits per GKE cluster: 5,000 nodes per cluster”. For most accounts, is that the actual effective limit? Quite generous. Or, much much earlier than that, some other limit will be hit (24 CPU total.)

Thanks.

I think that GKE or related products follow the same quotas because all are Compute services.
