I’m uploading images and I need to capture the date and the latlong information for the moment the picture was taken. How can I do that in appsheet?

Please use change columns ChangeTimeStamp and ChangeLocation to capture the timestamp and latlong when the picture is taken.

Hi Suvrutt, thanks for your answer, but the thing is I’m not taking the picture in the same moment the picture is being uploaded to my app. I mean the picture was taken with my cellphone six months ago, so it has metadata with the information of that location and that time but I don’t know how to get it from app sheet. Are there any function or method I can use to fetch that info?
Got it. I am sorry that I am not aware of any approach to extract such a metadata through AppSheet.

You should look for a solution with apps script and integrate with your app.

When we upload the image files from appsheet (where the meta data Exif) the appsheet is always drop them, so not able to access to them even from the appscript, as they are not there.
