Gemini Ultra 1 in Google Cloud AI or only Vertex AI

I’m just starting with Gemini, sorry for this newbie question.
I’ve been going through many articles but it’s still not clear whether only Vertex AI uses the new Gemini Ultra 1.0 or also Google Cloud AI. Could somebody clarify please?

Currently, VertexAI offers Gemini Pro in Preview. Ultra is slated for “early this year.” See this model info page.

does “gemini advanced” (googles consumer paid plan) use pro or ultra model?
