GCP instances page not displayed with error "Page Unresponsive" from Chrome Browser (latest version)

Using Windows 10 x64 Pro and Chrome version 94.0.4606.61.

I noticed that recently I have been unable to view and manage my GCP instances from the GCP UI at console.cloud.google.com using Chrome Browser.

At first I thought it was an issue with the Chrome Browser so I reset the browser to defaults, but that did not solve the issue. Then I tried 2 alternate browsers and that did work either. Then I uninstalled some latest updates from Microsoft and still no joy.

Anyone else having issues with the UI on GCP to manage instances?

It’s working fine on my machine. What do you see on the screen?

I found that when I removed my extension “Dashlane” password manager it started to work again, which is a real bummer as I like having a browser enabled password manager.

Hopefully this will help someone else who runs into this issue.
