I’m facing a blocking issue with my AppSheet app related to plans, and I’m stuck between plan requirements.
Context:

I have an AppSheet app used by a 7–8 person team.

Users sign in and actively enter operational data (visits, sales, expenses).

The app was working normally while on the free plan.
What happened:

The free plan expired.
-
The app became blocked with this message:
“Your app is blocked because a plan update is needed.”
“Minimal plan needed: AppSheet Starter.”
What I tried:

I purchased AppSheet Publisher Pro, thinking it would unlock the app.

However, the app did not start working after the purchase.
Current situation:

App still shows:
-
Minimal plan needed: AppSheet Starter

User signin not allowed with the APPSHEET PUBLISHER PRO plan

My team members:
-
Can open the app
-
But are stuck on sync
-
New data does not sync

From the admin/editor side:

I cannot properly preview or manage the app

The app remains in a blocked state

When I try to buy or upgrade to Starter plan:

I’m redirected back to the app page

I cannot complete the purchase

Conclusion / Problem:

The free plan ended
-
Publisher Pro does not satisfy the app’s secure sign-in requirement

The app requires Starter (Secure), but the system does not allow me to upgrade to it

As a result, the app and all users are blocked
What I need help with:

How to correctly move this app from the expired free plan to AppSheet Starter
-
How to resolve the upgrade loop (being redirected back without being able to purchase Starter)
-
How to unblock the app and restore normal sync for users
Has anyone experienced this after a free plan expiration?
What is the correct way to recover the app and apply the required Starter plan?
