First, congratulations on the impressive evolution of Google Meet’s “Take Notes for Me” powered by Gemini. It has significantly improved day-to-day productivity by automating summaries, decisions, and action items.
I’d like to propose what I believe is the natural next step for this capability.
Today, Gemini effectively captures what happened during a meeting. I propose extending this with an optional, administrator-controlled Strategic Meeting Intelligence layer that helps organizations analyze how meetings are run—providing actionable recommendations to improve decision velocity, meeting culture, and organizational productivity over time.
Instead of just outputting documentation, Gemini could deliver host/leadership-level insights such as:
*** Meeting Effectiveness & Cadence: AI recommendations on agenda adherence, decision speed, and suggestions to shorten or shift redundant calls to asynchronous Google Chat updates.
*** Collaboration Patterns: High-level, privacy-safe observations on team engagement dynamics and facilitation best practices.
*** Enterprise Governance: Granular host controls ensuring these meta-insights remain restricted strictly to meeting owners or managers.
This would fundamentally differentiate Google Workspace by positioning Gemini not just as a meeting scribe, but as a strategic collaboration advisor for enterprise leadership.
