I wanted to try exporting data from my AppSheet application recently. I was able to add the behavior onto an overlay but does not do what I intend.
I want the user-provided filters from the search bar to affect the exported columns as well.
How can I achieve this?

The csv export won’t consider the filter that comes with the view.
You may want to use a filtered dashboard (slice filter on one side, slice filtered on the other side), then apply your csv export action on this dashboard.

Idk when it was implemented exactly, but time ago I also suggested the “Dynamic dashboard” kind of scenario and someone that works on the backend considered it a “bug” and “fixed it”, so filters should be able to restrict the rows exported.
I guess contacting support is the way to go?
