Error ID: c799a80d Looker Studio cannot connect to your data set.

Dear community

after working fine for months one of our reports has lost all source connections (Error ID: c799a80d).

  • We have not moved or renamed any sources (connector= google sheets)
  • We have tried reconnecting and refreshing the sources
  • this only happens on some reports created with this google account, all sources however live on the same gdrive (belonging to that account)
  • we have not changed any sharing permissions on gdrive

I also noticed, when attempting to recreate a new version from a copy of the source datasets that the Latitide/Longitude field is no longer accepted as a spatial coordinate for bubble maps ! (only addresses work but are not so accurate)

..anybody else having similar issues?

thank you

I have the same problem. Did you solve it @andreasantini ?

I’m seeing the same thing - I deleted and added back my account, the connector to Looker, and am still seeing the error. Were you able to resolve this?

I am also experiencing this problem. Everything is suddenly disconnected. I try reconnecting and it does not resolve the issue.

I tried generating a Data Preview of my data and am met with this error.

Looker status appears to be operating normally as far as I can tell, so I’m at a loss as to what the issue may be.

I found that there is a bug with Looker connected data - if Use Legacy LookML Runtime is enabled, there may be issues with the data flowing into Looker Studio.

Hi Team

Any solution to the above issue, I am also facing the same issue from last one month.
