Hi all, I am trying to use the AppSheet Database, but I found some error which I am failed to trace the cause of the error.
I tried remove the table in the AppSheet, and I also try regenerate the column, but it can’t help.
The error that I found in the Audit log is:
“Errors”: “Unable to add row to table ‘Client Master’. → An error occurred while creating a new row in AppSheet database”,
Do you have any clue what went wrong?
Check that all columns of data meet the required and validation requirements. In other words they are filled in if required and/or have values that match the validation or dropdown list choices.

HI @WillowMobileSys , thanks for the prompt reply.
There are no any required and validation set in the AppSheet’s data column.
But there are some image column & signature, and I found that, if one of this column is no inputing value, then the Error message is prompt.
Any clue how to disable the signature & image column validation/required in AppSheet’s Database?
Honestly, I have yet to even try the AppSheet Database. But if it is like any other database, the columns there ALSO have settings for “required” or not.
In general SQL databases, “required” usually takes the form of the setting “Not null” or “Nullable” for a column. You might take a closer look at what settings you have for the columns in that database.

Noted, understand for the NOT NULL & NULLABLE setting.
But can’t find those setting in the AppSheet Database.
Will try again, thanks.
And I tried to add a new row in the AppSheet Database, with all value is blank, it works, it can add a new blank row.
But if I add new record from AppSheet, this data types can’t be blank: email/image/signature.
I would recommend contacting AppSheet support to report the problem.

i have the same issue.
If a column is set to “signature” if i try to save without filling it i got the same error.
Did you find a solution?
You are also using the AppSheet Database? If so, please report it to AppSheet.
Because the AppSheet Database is a preview feature, you would report it as a post to this thread:

No, I didn’t find a solution, found that some data type can’t be save without filling.
So I switch back to use Google Sheet instead.

Issue was resolved adding an inital value to Signature Field.
