I’m trying to create a new instance of a JupyterLab in Vertex AI Workbench, but when I click in “Open JupyterLab” I always get a 403 back. I already have the Vertex AI Administrator role, but since I’m getting this issue.
How can I solve this issue ?
Hi @micaelbatista ,
Welcome to Google Cloud Community!
Error 403 (Forbidden) usually indicates an access issue. Based on your screenshot, the notebook opens in a new browser tab after clicking the Open JupyterLab button. If you are signed in to more than one Google Account, the new tab opens with your default Google Account. If you didn’t create your instance with your default Google Account, the new browser tab will show a 403 (Forbidden) error. You may use incognito and sign in the correct account which has access to the instance. For more information, you can refer to this documentation for troubleshooting the Vertex AI Workbench 403 error.

After moving permissions around, I was able to overcome the error, by adding myself the Service Account Token Creator and Service Account User permissions.
