Environmental Group management app

Good day. Hugh Temple here. I have been an Appsheet User since around 2016 to manage the activities and resources for our Honorary Officer group. The app has been wonderful in this regard as it has enabled our managing of the resources of the group very effectively. It has also enabled the reporting of our activities to our parent body, the Ezemvelo KwaZulu-Natal Wildlife organisation.

The app does the following:

  1. A Form to report Patrols/Activities and any Incidents. Includes general timekeeping and mileage for that whole activity, but not for individual HO’s, who would complete a Time Sheet each. The Form also contains a Conservation Checklist of all duties (fourth tab) which should be carried out during a routine patrol of the reserve. It includes the ability to save photos and GPS coordinates to the Report.
  2. A Form to record any Intelligence Reports received. These are Reports which are not immediately actioned but may be of significance to future investigations and are either noted for the record or for later follow-up. It includes the ability to save photos and GPS coordinates to the Report. Contains informant and suspect details, as well as suspicious vehicles. At this stage only the individual entering the report and the committee can view those records, but that will be updated regularly.
  3. A Membership Form to enter and maintain details for each HO member, with detailed records as extracted from the original application form. Can be updated as members’ circumstances change. Includes the ability to save an image of the member. Accessible only to the individual and authorised personnel, eg the committee or membership coordinator.
  4. A Time Sheet Form to log individual Time sheets for a person. This can be viewed and updated by the individual concerned and persons responsible for maintaining the database eg. the committee. Even if times are entered into a Patrol/Activity report, they are not done for each HO who has carried out those duties so must be logged to individual timesheets. This can be viewed by the individual concerned and persons responsible for maintaining the database eg. the committee.
  5. A Form to enter an asset and to maintain an Asset Register per Group. This can only be viewed by authorised person/s.
  6. Forms to enter animal and bird sightings. These are important so records can be maintained of wildlife locations and numbers. Rare sightings are particularly important.

The above summarises what the app does for our group. However, the App has now been stopped because I have too many users. I would really appreciate contact from Appsheet to see how we can resolve this issue.
