Environment Variable - Target server IP address change is not reflecting properly

Hi All,

On modifying the target server IP to a new one on EDGE UI is still routing to the old IP address at times. We are using Least connection as the Load balance scheme in the Proxy.

eq: xxx.xxx.xx.9 and xxx.xxx.xx.13 where 13 is the new one which changed from 9

Do we need to restart the MPs to reflect the IP address change ?? Appreciate any help.

Yes, you do need to restart the MPs for any changes to take effect.

However, I think there is also some time for the cached Target server data to be cleared and new data to be read from the memory. I am not sure how much this time is though.
