Emaill suddenly stopped sending (but worked previously)

Hi, so I have two apps deployed.

I am the only user logging into both.

One of my apps is a calendar, and I have it so that if I book an appointment for myself an automated email is sent to whoever I book the appointment with. Clicking the save button to add the appointment to my calendar triggers the automation and the email is sent to the email address of whatever I have added to the appointment using the email field.

It all worked fine until about a month ago or less and the emails now get sent to my own email address only with a note to say, this is a free account, emails are only sent to the app owner. Something like that.

However, it worked perfectly before. And I have not had anything to say that this is changing in anyway or any updates I am aware of.

I noticed that in my second app it’s the same issue but without a calendar. I basically use it as a form to collect email addresses. I fill the form in with peoples details including email address, click submit. I get an email of the submission and they get a copy of it via automation sent to their email address that they have given to me.

Did something change?

Hi Steve, I really appreciate your reply. Please could you tell me where you found the article so that in the future I don’t waste anyone’s time?

Thanks

Or click on September 25, 2025 to go to the article and see where it lives.

I hadn’t seen this announcement but I don’t understand how this is different than it always has been. Unless, this is strictly referring to “Personal Use” apps? How else could an account be considered FREE?
