Edge upgrade from 4.17.09 to 4.19.01

If we are running Apigee Edge Private Cloud 4.17.09 which is installed on VM having OS as Redhat Enterprise Linux 7.2 -

  1. Can we upgrade Edge Private cloud to 4.19.01 on existing platform (RHEL 7.2) or do we need to upgrade the RHEL to 7.4 before Apigee upgrade?
  2. If yes, is the current version of Edge 4.17.09 supported on that higher OS version RHEL 7.4?

Since RHEL 7.2 is not supported any longer, the best approach is to upgrade OS to all nodes first to RHEL 7.4, then follow the steps in this document:
