Hi everyone,
I’m working on building an app sheet to help with a few repetitive business process. I’m able to get everything set up in the editor and the preview of the email form looks perfect. I’m referencing the detail view and have the proper fields exposed to edit.
When I send test emails though the dynamic parts of the email don’t load and the email is not tagged as dynamic. There’s also a notification at the bottom of the message saying dynamic content isn’t loading because I might be in an incompatible email client. I am receiving these in the Gmail we client with the latest version of Chrome. My enterprise environment has dynamic emails enabled and they’re also enabled in my gmail settings.
Any thoughts on what might be blocking these messages from loading correctly?

Hi @Tristan_Wilson,
Thank you for reaching out and glad to hear the Dynamic Email feature could potentially help with some processes! There could be a couple of reasons for why you aren’t seeing the dynamic email, but they are mainly around not having them enabled in workspace or Gmail settings. I just want to confirm, have you already followed the steps here to enable Dynamic Email in Gmail (it should be enabled already but confirming)?
If that is enabled, could you try our sample Task Manager app for dynamic emails— if you create a new task, you should receive a dynamic email. It should load as a dynamic email but if it doesn’t, then there might be some other settings we need to dig into.
If it does load, I might need to dig deeper into your app if that’s okay. In that case, could you share it with me as a co-author at mhashmi@appsheet.com?
Thank you!

Hi Sarmad,
Yes as I said above Dynamic emails are enabled everywhere the setting is available. In my enterprise settings it’s enabled globally and I’ve confirmed it’s enabled on my OU. I’ve also checked my individual gmail settings and dynamic emails are enabled.
The Task Manager app sends emails to my work address but they do not load dynamic content and ths following is included at the bottom of the message:
" This is the static version of a dynamic email. You are likely seeing this because you are using an unsupported email client, the dynamic email was sent to a group, or the dynamic email is more than 30 days old. Currently, the dynamic content in a dynamic email will only render within Gmail and expires after 30 days. Please visit our help center to learn more*"
I am viewing these in the gmail client in the latest version of Chrome.
If I use the Task Manager app from my personal email the dynamic content loads correctly.
I’ve added you as a co-author on my existing app.

Thank you @Tristan_Wilson! I’ve messaged you directly so we can dig deeper into why this is happening.

Hola!! Encontrasteis finalmente una solución? Tengo el mismo problema y me sería muy útil poder usar los correos dinámicos. Gracias.
